Miao Hao is an M.A. student in the Division of Cinema and Media Studies at USC. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Film Directing. Her work bridges research and creative practice, with broad interests in experimental cinema, gender politics, and documentary filmmaking about memory and belonging. She is currently developing a documentary that explores the transformation and disappearance of Chinese-language movie theaters in Los Angeles.
