Alexander Pablo Muller is a Cinema and Media Studies Ph.D. student at the University of Southern California. His research explores how visual culture mediates, destabilizes, and reimagines national identity formations. His scholarly interests cohere around three interrelated areas: exilic and diasporic media practices, the counter politics of film form, and the aesthetics and erotics of fascism. He holds a research M.A. in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University.
